Datolite - Quincy Mine
Datolite locally sourced from here at the Quincy Mine in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. Due to our mine no longer being active, specimens from here are in limited supply and a rare find!
Datolite is a rare crystalline mineral found as nodules shaped like cauliflower within native copper deposits in the Copper Country. White is the most common color of datolite, but it can also contain pink, mauve, red, orange, yellow, green, brown, gray, and black. Along with varying colors, datolite can also be infused with copper and silver.
