Interpretive Guides
The Quincy Mine Hoist Association is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the rich industrial and cultural history of the Quincy Mine. At the core of our mission is public education, and our Interpretive Mine Guides serve as the frontline ambassadors in achieving this goal.
Guides lead visitors through engaging and informative tours of the mine’s surface and underground features. This role requires not only a passion for storytelling and history but also strong public speaking skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to adapt to varying audience needs. Guides must demonstrate both enthusiasm and respect while interacting with the public and possess the leadership capabilities necessary to manage group dynamics and respond calmly in emergency situations.
Guides are employed April thru October on a full time basis. Professional resources and training will be provided, with opportunities for continued development.
Applications will be reviewed year-round and can be sent to info@quincymine.com
