The Quincy Mine Hoist Association has dedicated 65 years to safeguarding the physical and cultural legacy of one of the nation’s most important copper mining operations. Today, the Association oversees preservation efforts that promote the local economy while nurturing public understanding by providing in-depth interpretive tours to more than 21,000 guests annually.

By becoming a member of our organization you are taking part in a movement to ensure that a significant part of our nation’s history remains preserved for generations to learn, witness, and truly experience.

Corporate Memberships

The Association oversees preservation efforts that bring millions of dollars into the local economy, provides several full-time and seasonal employment opportunities, while fostering a distinct community identity by preserving and emphasizing our local heritage and the stories that created our towns.
