A Keweenaw winter is an experience in itself, but you can add to it with a little underground warm-up!
While our regular tour season ends in November, we conduct tours all year-long. Visit our booking calendar to see what tour times are available. Not seeing one that works for you? Give us a call!
Although the same information is presented during winter tours, the snow changes some minor aspects. Guests will be asked to drive their own vehicle to the adit location, a short 10 minute drive on Highway 41. Once there, a short walk through packed snow (as photographed above) will bring you to the mine entrance. Unfortunately, these obstacles prevent us from being able to offer mobility assistance during winter tours.
